			A Norwegian Seattle native An-Magrith Erlandsen first learned about Batik when she visited Indonesia in the early 90's. She has a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts and is a Master oil painter.  An-Magrith is the sole creator of Tarot of the Pomegranate - a group of large oil paintings alchemized down into a Limited Edition signed/numbered tarot deck.  An-Magrith learned the "submersion" method of Batik art by Master Batik artist, Victoria Batikwalla. Each Pomegranate Batik item is an original hand painted design, hand dyed and signed by the artist.
